Gladiators, then and now

As part of our continuing attempts to try to convert this blog to an entirely “American Gladiators”-based format, there is a terrific post on the advertising blog Brand New comparing the new and old version American Gladiators. They argue that the new logo “i stronger, smarter, sleeker and possibly taking human growth hormones.” I tend to like the previous logo more, but I have to say I am going back and forth as to which one is more absurd. What about you out there, any thoughts? Do you prefer the new logo or classic version?
Luckily we can all agree that Titan is the greatest Gladiator of this, or any generation.
