OMG TV: Who’s up for a movie?

Posted by Jeff in , , , ,

Network TV sucks tonight. It sucks sucks sucks sucks. I mean, if I recommended Power of 10 to you, you’d stop reading this column, right? So grab some popcorn and get comfy: it’s movie night.

Popcorn8:00 – We Were Soldiers (TNT)

Take a trip back to the days when being in the Army was fun and Mel Gibson’s rampant racism was par for the course.

8:00 – The Hunt for Red October (AMC)

Take a trip back to the days when being in the Navy was fun and Alec Baldwin’s rampant child abuse was par for the course.

8:00 – The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (FX)

Take a trip back to the days when being in the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen was fun and Sean Connery’s rampant spousal abuse was par for the course.

9:00 – Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (HBOS)

“Talking monkey, yeah, yeah. Came here from the future, ugly sucker, only says ‘ficus’.”

Late Night

Letterman’s got Julie Chen (I thought he was supposed to be the one who was able to get good guests), 2006 Dave Chappelle (I think that still makes him post-crazy) stops by 2006 Conan in 2006 Chicago, and Carmen Electra is on Ferguson. Yeesh, maybe I need to find a list of late night movies too.
