OMG TV: So it’s come to this

Posted by Jeff in , , , , , , , , , , ,

New and Improved Okay, people, it’s not you, it’s me. Actually, it’s not even me, it’s the crappy nature of television today. There’s never anything on. American Gladiators just ended. I’m sick of pretending like I watch Lost just to make Lost jokes. So today marks the arrival of your leaner, meaner OMG TV of the future. More shows! Similar amounts of snarkiness! 15% less trans fats!

Full listings after the jump.

All Night - Wisconsin Primary Coverage (CNN/MSNBC/Fox News)
In a stunning upset, all of Wisconsin’s 74 delegates go to Brett Fav-ruh.

8:00 - Two Hours of Family Guy (TBS)
Gotta love whoever in TBS’s programming department keeps coming up with this one. Fun fact: Peter’s dad is voiced by none other than Star Trek’s Colm “Chief Miles O’Brien” Meaney. (Look, “fun” is a loosely defined word.)

8:00 - The Godfather, Part Two (AMC)
8:00 - The Transporter 2 (FX)

Word on the street is if you flip between these two movies just right, it looks like Robert De Niro grows up to become Jason Stratham. (Actually, I suppose if you do it ‘just right’, you simply stay on AMC.)

9:00 - Billy Madison (HBOW)

10:00 - Boston Legal (ABC)

10:00 - Jericho (CBS)
Skimming Slate’s recent review made me wish I actually wish I watched this show. Apparently America’s been split into thirds after a nuclear attack, and the only way to survive is to mail peanuts to Hollywood execs.

Late Night
Dave gets his ‘dawg’ on with Randy Jackson! The set of The Tonight Show goes clothing-optional as Will Ferrell arrives in all his hirsute glory! The Semi-Pro promo train continues to Craig Ferguson, who has Sir Andre Benjamin the 3000th! Anderson Cooper rides his great glass elevator over to Conan (bringing SNL’s Bill Hader along)! And in a triumphant middle finger to all the fans who have been waiting ages for some good ol’ fashioned fake news, Stewart and Colbert have taken the week off. Magnificent.
