Let’s make this quick, people:
- In politics, lots of vice presidential talk, none of it interesting.
- GOOD GOD IT’S THE NEW IPHONE HANDED DOWN FROM THE HEAVENS TO… oh, boring, the new iPhone has 3G, none of the other wacky add-ons people had hoped for.
- Ken Griffey “Ca-ca-call me Junior” Jr. hit his 600th home run, joining Babe Ruth, Willie Mays, Hank Aaron and two other ‘roiders we won’t metion in the exclusive club.
Good God, nothing is going on. But we’ll make it up to you: after the jump, find a clip of John McLaughlin saying “You make it sound like this is the first time we’ve had a black president.” And it only gets better from there.
