The best $5 you can spend in Los Angeles on alternating Monday nights would of course be Human Giant performing at the UCB Theatre. Tonight’s show featured a most excellent live DVD commentary on Rambo featuring, among others, Stallone’s fluffer. Nice.
- The South Park guys are going to Broadway, by way of Salt Lake City
- Sign of the apocolypse: you can order Domino’s through your TiVo
- Come on, the new Star Trek trailer is awesome
Many, many more links after the jump.
- George Clooney is apparently starring in a Dennis Eckersley biopic
- Posted without comment: Fetus cookie cutters
- The new Google iPhone app with voice search is out, and I can tell you from experience that it’s pretty rad. Did I mention I own an iPhone? I’m pretty sure that means you have to think I’m cool.
- Posted without comment: Enormous baseball bat pepper mill
- Since nobody cares about the Grammys, why not have more Grammys to not care about?
- New track “Ulysses” from our favorite Scots, Franz Ferdinand (but wasn’t James Joyce Irish?)
- If you’re not secure enough in your masculinity for Franz Ferdinand, there’s a new Ludacris track with Nas and Jay-Z as well
- Let’s establish right now that The Roots being the house band will have nothing to do with Jimmy Fallon’s new late night show getting canceled after three nights
