Wrapup: The distinguished Senator from Tennessee has the floor

More important than the news that Hank Williams Jr. is running for Senate in 2012 is the news that he has a duet with Kid Rock called “Cadillac Pussy.” Rock. Now, here’s what else was going down today:
- The Criterion Collection is now streaming films from their (new) website for $5, which comes with a $5 coupon if you want to actually buy the DVD.
- Le bummer: France once had 200,000+ cafes, but they’re down to just 40,000, and two more close every day.
- Some great, pie in the sky hopes from TechPresident that the Obama White House will be absurdly transparent and online.
- Hee hee, CC Sabathia is fat.
- Google Maps has a number of interface improvements, especially when it comes to Street View. Smart move.
- Hugo Chavez is gay for Russian sailors.
Corrections Department
In today’s OMG TV, I neglected to pass brief judgment on Jon Stewart’s musical number in the Colbert Christmas special. I apologize. For what it’s worth, I’ll give it a “heh, heh.”
