OMG TV: Thursday Thanksgiving Thelevision

Time for the most special television day of the year: Thanksgiving!  Prepare for hundreds of crappily computer animated turkeys waddling across the screen at all times - just like this one!  Look at him go, down the field!  Rah rah rah!

It’s not that the TV is particularly good or anything today, but it certainly is plentiful and it provides the perfect excuse to stay the hell away from the kitchen, because face it, you’re not qualified for anything besides opening the canned cranberry sauce.  After the jump, your full guide to the day’s boob tube festivities.

Traditions, Specials, and Movies

9:00 am - Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade (NBC)

Al Roker: man or balloon?

1:00 - The First Three Brosnan Bond flicks (Sci-Fi)

2:00 - Miracle on 34th Street (NBC)

Not the modern version with the little slut from Matilda.  Hey, I wonder if she’s hot now.  Google search is inconclusive.

8:00 - Charlie Brown Thanksgiving (ABC)

8:00 - The Incredibles (NBC)

9:00 - CNN Heroes (CNN)

Because when I think “hero,” I think Anderson Cooper.  Remember that time he ran into a burning orphanage to save a bunch of puppies?

Football

12:30 EST - Titans at Lions (CBS)

4:15 EST - Seahawks at Cowboys (FOX)

8:15 EST - Cardinals at Eagles (NFL Network)

I’m sure the solution to Donovan McNabb and company’s woes in recent weeks is short rest this week.

All Day - A crapload of I Love Lucy followed by a crapload of The Cosby Show (TV Land)
