OMG TV: That chair is droll

Posted by Jeff in , , , , , , ,

8:00 – Knocked Up (HBO)

Yeah, yeah, they’ve been showing it nonstop, but what’s better than Seth Rogan and Paul Rudd shrooming their way through Cirque du Soleil?

8:00 – NBA Draft Lottery (ESPN)

Let’s take a break from exciting playoff basketball action for some exiting probably rigged lottery action. The NBA: Where cheating happens.

9:00 – Reaper (CW)

It’s the Reaper season finale, and Sam must decide whether his best friend lives… or dies. And no, his best friend is not a talking pie.

Late Night

Harrison Ford tries to crack a bull whip without breaking his hip on Letterman, Sly Stallone wonders if it’s too late to turn Get Carter into a classic Stallone franchise he can revive for a quick buck on Leno, Denis Leary reminds us that, really, he’s an “actor” these days on Conan, and the Comedy Central duo remain on vacation.

OMG TV: Union stated

Turbo vs. Wolf 8:00 – American Gladiators (NBC)

Though old school gladiator Turbo’s recent editorial in The Onion pointed out plenty of problems with our new obsession, we’re still hooked. Besides, I’m sensing more than a little jealousy at Wolf’s ability to grow facial hair.

9:00 – State of the Union (ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, CNN, Food Network, Disney Channel, Oxygen, C-SPAN 12)

For the first time in ages, the State of the Union preempting regular programming is actually a boon to us all, averting a likely Samantha Who? marathon.

9:30 – In Treatment (HBO)

HBO really reaches with this one – a show about a psychiatrist! Except this time, you have to watch every single night for a month to understand what the hell is going on! And no promises then, either!

Late Night

Julie Chen on Letterman (deja vu?), Denis Leary on Fergs, and Conan’s back with new episodes, but also back to not telling us who’s on. A shame.
