Hello there.  Peabody here.  This is my boy, Sherman.

“Mister Peabody, it sure is amazing we can stream the first season of Rocky and Bullwinkle on Hulu anytime we want!”

Quiet, you. These good people wouldn’t be interested without Fractured Fairy Tales and the adventures of yours truly.

“But Mister Peabody, they’re all included!”

Very well.  I suppose that makes it Hulu for nous.

“Mister Peabody, that’s not even a pun.  Also, I made a mess on the living room carpet.”

That’s a bad boy, Sherman.  Bad boy.

Wrapup: Zeppelins, zombies, and more Tony Stark

Awesome Mad Men credits parody courtesy of this Sunday’s Simpsons Treehouse of Horror episode and videogum.  Here’s what else nearly fell through the cracks today:

• Finally, someone gets a clue and decides to bring back the golden days of travel by zeppelin.  And even better, steampunk pirates are involved.
• And if steampunk pirates aren’t weird-subcultury enough for you, how about a zombie march planned at a Sarah Palin rally?
• Those crazy kids at Uniqlo, my personal favorite Asian H&M rip off, are setting up a human vending machine in Times Square next month.  Somehow this involves mimes.  Of course.
• Stop motion video of a kid running over a football ref in a golf cart, anyone?
• Farewell, standalone VCRs.  I, for one, am hoarding VCRs in order to sell them at outrageous markup on eBay after we find out discs give you cancer in a few years.  Mark my words.
• Nobody does movie convergence better than Marvel: Robert Downey Jr. is confirmed as Iron Man/Tony Stark in the 2011 film The Avengers.
• Question: how could the Flaming Lips’ Wayne Coyne be even more awesome?  Answer: by building a Guitar Hero controller into a double headed guitar.
• Massachusetts State Senator Dianne Wilkerson, already in trouble for all sorts of crazy crap, is caught red-handed taking bribes.  This is worth a look just for the photos.
