Happy tax day, suckers. Go out there and enjoy a free donut. And now, quick news:
- Two car bombs targeted restaurants in Iraq today, killing more than 50.
- John McCain called for a federal gas-tax holiday this summer, because the best way to reduce our dependency on foreign oil is to use it all up as quickly as possible.
- Barack Obama said he would “immediately review” the actions of the Bush White House if elected, which probably doesn’t mean anything, but I do enjoy the mental picture of John Ashcroft in a human pyramid.
- Finally, the Pope landed in Virginia today, but was immediately extinguished by angry protesters. Have a great day, everyone.
