OMG TV: The horror

Posted by Jeff in , , , , , , , ,

There’s nothing good on tonight, but when trying to find the least offensive programming, you might stumble onto a minefield.  So let’s instead tell you what not to watch:

8:00 – So You Think You Can Dance (FOX)

Two hours!  Of crappy dancing!

9:00 – Grey’s Anatomy (ABC)

Two hours!  Of whiny doctors!

9:00 – The Devil Wears Prada (HBO)

Two hours!  Of stupid New Yorkers being mean to each other or something!

Terrible.  Just terrible.  Why not try some lovely Pistons at Celtics at 8:30 on ESPN, or perhaps the classic South Park episode “How to Eat with your Butt”, on Comedy Central at 9:30.  And then, if you can survive long enough, there’s…

Late Night

Richard Lewis on Conan.  Back on the list of things to avoid, you’ve got Sarah Jessica Parker on Letterman and Terry Bradshaw on Leno.

8:00 – NBC Thursday Night Must See Extravaganza

New 30 Rock! New Office! Some people probably care that there’s new Earl and Scrubs as well! I’ve been jonesin’ for a Baldwin fix, and reruns of Daniel on Celebrity Rehab just wasn’t cutting it.

8:00 – The Graduate (AMC)

If only fresh faced young Dustin Hoffman had taken that advice on plastics, maybe he wouldn’t be stuck working in some dumb Wonder Emporium all these years later.

10:30 – Lil’ Bush (Comedy Central)

Tonight’s episode of Lil’ Bush highlights the biggest weakness of men from the Bush clan: fatties. They love them. Don’t ask me how, but Fred Schneider from the B-52′s is involved somehow.

Late Night

Whoa, Keanu Reeves is on Leno, the delightful Alyson Hannigan is on Ferguson, the unfortunate Sarah Jessica Parker is on Conan (with the rather fortunate Eddie Izzard), and some dueling Middle East nonfiction authors on Stewart and Colbert,
