OMG TV: Shows from the Crystal Cave

Posted by Josh in , , , ,

Not much on tonight, even to my less-discerning TV palate. However, I have dug up a few things that should stave off the crippling loneliness of our technoreliant existence.

8:00 pm EST and 10:00 pm EST – Under Seige and Under Seige 2 (TNT)

Your favorite action star/folk musician fights terrorists in the first film and then fights… more terrorists in the second! A double feature of American classics! This would be a good chance to look back on the glory days of terrorist fighting when terrorists were a vague concept and the hero wasn’t always talking on his cell phone.

10:00 pm EST – South Park (Comedy Central)

A new South Park tonight and they have been razor-sharp of late. If you can’t stand waiting until 10, remember that Comedy Central recently put every episode of South park ever online, for free.

10:00 pm EST – Top Chef (Bravo)

Supposedly this is the first episode with major drama, so that might be worth checking out. However, we all know the short dude with the fauxhawk is going to win, so can start kicking people off two at a time so we can get to it?

Late Night

Letterman is a rerun but Leno has Ellen Paige (is the Juno DVD out already?) and Donnie & Marie. Conan has someone (something?) called Tapes ‘N Tapes and I might watch just to see what that is. Stewart has author Steve Coll and Colbert has activist Jeff Gore. Jeff Gore wants to abolish the penny, while I want to abolish crappy fill-in guests.
